Vicky Vu was born in Vietnam and raised in Colorado. She moved to New York City in 2012. Her calling to staying in NYC is because there is no other city on the planet with such diverse people and such energy. The creative spirit makes New York City one of the most vibrant places in the world. Vicky is a licensed cosmetology educator, and a certified makeup artist, graduate from MUD (Makeup Designory) in Manhattan. It’s not just the artistic aspect of the job that she love, but also her clients and students. Showing people the beauty that lies within each of them is very important to her. Vicky loves the opportunity to collaborate, to learn, and to be creative in a team environment, such as on commercial or editorial photo shoot. She believe that creating beauty is art, passion, and expression.
